Well written. I really like the way she has laid out her instructions.
Perfect. You explain everything I should know and how I should go about it with a fool proof formula. I was good at writing erotica, this took me up to a new tier.
This is an inspiring book and definitely gives someone who is interested in writing erotica books for a basic start. But that's all it is...a very basic start. This "book" needed another few chapters because Christina leaves out a lot of significant information like how to price your book, what types of erotica niches one could explore (in better detail), venturing into using 's self-publishing platform of CreateSpace to get more promo power out of and the importance of reviews and how to get them. I feel that the author says "You can do it because I can" then gives you a sampling of her not-so-great erotica and then the book ends. Good start but certainly not enough info...not even close!
Loved the book. I WORRIED That my stories were too short but now I know that short stories are good. I have written several Novels but I love the short story best. Your book is a great read and so helpful. It helped me organize some thoughts about something that happened to me some years back. I hope to finish the story by this evening. Thanks. Shane
Friggin great book. Great detail and she has the runs on the board to prove whats shes saying. Walks her talk. Loved the graphs and charts and finer details on the money side of this book. Very motivating to an up coming erotic writer like myself (example The Mature Masseuse She Knows Your Secret Needs ... And Wants To Fill Them).
The author was very clear in explaining the different writing styles for erotic that is written for a female, and a male. There is different terminology that would be used for each type of book, and your reader. I had never considered writing this type of book before, as I am a non-fiction writer. I will say that this author explained enough that I am willing to give it a try. She also offers example writings as well as an extensive thesaurus of sorts to help you. This book was very well written for a new or experienced author to get into the genre.
For the most part this book is more "How to self-publish on " than how to write erotica. The actual content for writing erotica is maybe ten pages long (more or less as it's an ebook), then another 9-10 on how to use to self-publish then the final half (almost exactly) is two of her short stories included as examples. Honestly, she should have focused more on the erotica guide part and less on providing samples.
