Definitely read this book if you are a fan of environmental thrillers, or you love dystopian and post-apocalyptic fiction. Great characters and a gritty plot. The descriptions of this land are striking -- would love to know if it's based on New Zealand. Seems to be. The lead woman character is sassy! Loved her. And there is a fantastic depiction of a dog called Lupe who accompanies the two main characters on their quest (see book cover too!). This book has the twists and turns of a thriller, and it also has an intelligent political message. Loved it!Product details
